Dinnertime Prayers

We take turns thanking God each night at dinner. Here are tonight's dinner time prayers:

Me: Thank you God for it being Friday.

T: Thank you for mom being a stay-at-home mom tomorrow and thank you for Mackinaw is so cute.

M: Thank you for letting me be so productive today and thank you for my beautiful wife (ahhh!)

R: Thank you for my brain and imagination so that I can pretend that I have the super powers of strength and speed.

There you are...another little glimpse into my life.

CaliforniaGrammy: Thank you God for an adorable daughter, son-in-law, and two grandsons having a good time and loving each other in the mid-western part of the country!

Question: What did M "produce" today?

And I LOVE LOVE LOVE R's fabulous brain which allows his imagination to run wild! Hope his strength and speed allow him to get somewhere really fast and lift something huge!

I'm thankful for a neice who gives us such fun glimpses into her life. What does R do with his imagined super strength and speed?Sounds like you all have a neat weekend ahead of you.

M mowed the lawn, put weed and feed on the lawn, got the pop up camper out of the storage area (it was evicted because they're putting in more covered storage space), made a drip system for the bushes on the side of the house, and made a great dinner.

I'm not really sure what R's super strength and speed do, but he was running around the back yard a bunch when I got home, talking to himself as he reinacted something he saw on TV with superheroes.

A+ Mom & Dad....Just love the way you creatively thank God before dinner. It's sooo much more meaningful to everyone than reciting words/prayers the boys don't understand and say by rote.
I thank God for all the LOVE I see & feel when I'm with you.
R "is" a super hero in my book!
M...How did you do all that & make dinner to? Super Dad! xoxoxogramonthelake
