Halloween

Our friend, A, as Lord somebody from Peter Pan, R as Frankenstein and Squire Thomas. They were allowed to trick or treat on their own down the culdesac by our house before M and A's dad took them down the rest of the street. Meanwhile, A's mom and I sat on the front porch with a bottle of wine and gave out candy to the kids. (I know, I know, we got the good deal for the night, but you may not remember that last year the men stayed at gave out candy while we moms took the kids out in the freezing drizzle. So, we thought it was only fair. After all, it was a balmy 54 degrees this year. As a matter of fact, I think that we deserve to stay back at the house for two years after what we went through last year!)

M and I were invited to a Halloween party last night. We have never been to one together and had a hard time thinking of costumes. All of a sudden, I had a brainstorm and we were....

Dog the Bounty Hunter and his wife, Beth....

Whaddaya think?

Well, I think those are great looking costumes! If only I knew who the heck Dog the Bounty Hunter and his wife Beth were! Sure looks like fun and good times! And I like the idea of wine on the porch while dealing out the candy!

Looks like something awfully shiny on your ring finger I don't remember seeing before.

Go Dog & Beth. Just be sure no one records you phone conversations and leek them to the press. You guys look great!

You sistah told me you guys were Dog and Beth, and I could hardly wait to get home to check it out. What a great idea. We love to watch Dog and his "adorable" wife get the bad guys! Great job on creative idea, and the costumes! What a fun Halloween tradition you have, and I definitely you ladies deserved the night on the porch!

Ahhh ha ha ha ha.. hoo hoh hooh hoo..hee hee hee hee.... I love it! Too much fun. Can't wait to hear how about the reactions from the party. Did most people know who Dog and Beth were?

I love the kids costumes too! Did they bring in a big loot? Trick or treating is very different up here. Pretty much non-existent with the exception of the local church Trunk or Treat (what we did) or there is one neighborhood of houses to go to where you don't have to hike a mile to each doorstep.

And yes of course you get to have two years in a row with handing out candy.

Now on to November... crazy how time flies!
